Several conference races still hang in the balance, and many teams, including Texas Tech, are scrambling to become bowl eligible.
Others, like No. 1 Florida and No. 2 Alabama, might as well have byes.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher gives "The Blind Side" two thumbs up.
The movie depicts the true story of Michael Oher, a homeless youngster who was taken in by a wealthy Memphis family and went on to become a star tackle at Ole Miss and a first-round draft pick by the Ravens.
Fisher met Oher at the NFL Combine and was familiar with his story before he saw the film at a red carpet premiere last week.
There are so many types of football movies, but this one is really different … and it’s a tremendous story -Jeff Fisher

Coach Nick Saban will lead Alabama's seniors onto the Bryant-Denny Stadium field for the final time Saturday when the Crimson Tide plays host to Chattanooga.
Saturday is Senior Day at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
It isn't the seniors' last game, of course.
With coach Saban, the things he's doing and the things he's implemented, even though it's football oriented, a lot of it has to do with just natural survival. -Javier Arenas

Cody has 20 total tackles including five for lost yardage and two quarterback hurries.
His season will be remembered most for his two blocked field goals in the fourth quarter of the Oct. 24 Tennessee win.
The 354-pound anchor of the Alabama defensive line is also a finalist for the Lombardi Trophy and a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award.
Fluker has done a lot, lost a lot of weight, gotten in a lot better shape, does a good job every day against the first team defense -Nick Saban

"It's Nick Saban. He's doing an excellent job bringing guys in. I mean everybody, from the equipment manager to the janitors. Everybody is doing their part to make the program better. I'm just fortunate to be a part of the program."

Saturday morning in Tuscaloosa will feature more than just the game against Tennessee-Chattanooga, for Saturday will also bring Senior Day, and for the senior class this will be their final game in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
After spending years and years performing at 100 Bryant Drive, this will be the final time that this senior class will strap it up in front of the home crowd.
Given such an occasion, I think it's only fitting that we should pause for a moment and take a bit of reflection on this class an

manufactured star Robert Pattinson (I'm still not convinced he's really British).
Given, I'm no 12-year-old girl, but I just don't get it.
Regrettably (not), I haven't read more than three sentences of Stephenie Meyer's colossally successful book series about angst-ridden teenage vampires, but I did get dragged into theaters to watch the first movie by my fiancé.
